Which cookbooks do I recommend to new & experienced cooks?
Many of you have written and asked me for suggestions on what cookbooks and cooking magazines I recommend so I've created this page to share some of my favorites with you. I must have collected over 100 cookbooks over the years but some are more special than others. I love getting ideas from them, but most often use them as a reference to create my own dishes. I also just added a new page for eCookbooks that you might want to check out.
How To Buy Brand New Cookbooks For Pennies?
Have you ever heard of the The Good Cook? You start off getting 4 brand new cookbooks for a $1.00 each and then have to purchase 2 more cookbooks at regular club prices. But they have specials where you buy 1 book and you get the second at half price. If you work it right, you can purchase all the required books right from the start, pay one shipping price and be done with it. I have purchased lots of my cookbooks this way.
Join the club, get the 4 cookbooks for a buck plus the required 2 and cancel my membership a few weeks or months later. Then later on if I'm looking for some more cookbooks I do it all over again. They don't seem to mind since I always use the same name and address. So go check out The Good Cook?
Books By Catagory & Available at Amazon
Here are some of my all time favorites. I have broken them up into various catagories that I think will help make your deciding what book is best for you. These books are all linked to Amazon. If you hold your cursor over a book, you should see a pop out with new and uses prices plus if the book is in stock. To learn more and order any of these books at Amazon.com, just click on the book.
