Facilities

The school occupies a renovated, historic eight story tower on the six-acre riverfront campus. The school is within blocks of some of the world's most famous hotels and restaurants. The school has two lab kitchens, each divided into four quadrants and loaded with 16 ranges, 8 grills, 8 deep fryers, a walk-in cooler, a roll in blast chiller and a steam kettle.

There is a meat and fish cutting kitchen, a pastry kitchen, 20 classrooms, conference rooms and a large banquet room that can hold up to 120 guests. The school has a dining room with its own kitchen, a sugar and chocolate kitchen, garde manager kitchen and the Kraft research and development kitchen.

The Dining Room Restaurant

The Dining Room at Kendal College is know for its exceptional food and great service. It makes for the best classroom experience giving students the opportunity to gain important experience in a real world professionally run restaurant. The restaurant is open to the public and seats 90. The Dining Room is used for fine dining, theme dinners, special events and is the stage for their Grand Buffets.
