Programs of Study

Culinary Arts: Keiser University offers an Associate’s of Science in Culinary Arts degree program at its Melbourne campus. Instruction is completed in academic, hands-on, and laboratory settings as students learn the basics of food preparation and then advance onto more complex techniques.

Students are required to complete 84 credit hours, and classes include nutrition and sensory evaluation, principles of foods, stocks and sauces, American regional cuisine, classical French cuisine, popular world cuisines, baking and pastry, desserts, sanitation, dining room procedures and service, and a Culinary Arts externship. Students will be well-prepared to tackle any culinary situation they find themselves in.

Keiser participates in federal financial aid programs. Applicants need to fill out the FAFSA (free application for federal student aid) to determine if they meet eligibility requirements.
