About Remington College
Remington College is a multiple-campus college system with its main campus in Denver, Colorado. The college has 17 campuses in several western states. Only the Dallas campus offers the Culinary Arts Program.
The motto and mission statement of Remington College is “Real Skills for the Real World.” They combine traditional classroom education with hands-on practical skills learned under the supervision and instruction of expert faculty members.
Remington College has three imperatives: to offer academically sound education, to meet the needs of students and to meet the needs of employers for well-educated, entry-level employees. The school works with area businesses to provide externships and practical experiences as part of the educational process. They also work with those same businesses to facilitate student placement after graduation.
Remington is dedicated to helping students learn what they need to know to be successful in the work world. They accomplish that through small classes, individualized instruction, and practical application. Student achievements are recognized at awards ceremonies after every grading period.
One of Remington’s commitments is to graduate a high percentage of the students who enroll. The Student Services Department is available to provide any assistance students need to meet educational goals. Small classes and a caring faculty provide an optimal learning environment. Student involvement through forums and other venues is encouraged.
Culinary Programs
The Culinary Arts program is a 24 month program that prepares students for entry level positions as short-order cooks, cafeteria cooks, food preparers, sous chefs and similar positions. Under the supervision of experienced professional cooks, students learn about nutrition, food safety, running a kitchen, food preparation and presentation. Classes are spread over six 12-week quarters. Students graduate with an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts.

Financial Aid
Remington College participates in all federally funded student financial aid programs, so students should complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There may be other sources of financial aid available, and Remington has qualified Financial Aid representatives to help students with all aspects of finding ways to pay for school..

In addition to the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, several other professional and semiprofessional teams make their homes in Dallas. Dallas has professional hockey, soccer, rugby and women’s football teams, among others. The Dallas Diamonds have been national champions of the Women’s Professional Football League twice.
