Associate of Science in Baking and Pastry: The Associate of Arts in Baking & Pastry and the Baking & Pastry diploma programs are designed to serve the food service industry career focused student, as well as the career changers. Both programs provide students with culinary skills combined with a focus on baking and pastry including pastry and bread baking techniques, production skills, as well as critical thinking skills. This combination skill set and business knowledge will enhance each graduates ability to meet the challenges of an increasingly demanding and rapidly changing field.
Associate of Science degree & Diploma in Culinary Arts: A career in the culinary arts offers you the opportunity to be creative, successful, and respected in a highly competitive field The objective of the culinary programs is for students to attain a fundamental grounding in culinary arts.
Students are introduced to culinary concepts and theories, skills in culinary arts, principals of sanitation and safety, American regional cuisine, garde manger, essentials for baking and pastry, and fundamental concepts and practices in hospitality management.
Graduates from the diploma program are prepared to seek entry-level positions such as line cook, pastry cook, or assistant dining room manager.
Bachelor of Art in Culinary Management: This program can be completed in 36 months. You’ll learn culinary arts and management principles, including kitchen management, human resource management, computer skills, communication and professionalism.
