Hi everyone!

Because I like to talk about myself as much as the next person, I'm not about to pass up an opportunity. So, here goes:

I'm a physical therapy student who is very interested in ideas from Chinese medicine and Ayurveda about how everything about a person and their body works together. The way a body's systems work together so intricately will never cease to fascinate me. Of course, eating and nutrition is right there, too. Throw in a love for playing with things and making huge messes and you get my passion for cooking.

I hope to share my ventures (both good and bad) with you all and get some interesting ideas in return. I'll eat pretty much anything that's good, interesting and fresh. Or ice cream :)

Other than my student and work obligations, my world is dedicated to running, traveling, chocolate, yoga and my wolf-like puppy that weighs as much as I do and insists on 3 walks a day (unless you're willing to pay the price).

I look forward to sharing with everyone... my roommates will appreciate it, I'm sure.

Hi 89, welcome to the group. I am thrilled to have a physical therapy student aboard. My 9 year old who you may see mentioned here and on my web site and blog has cerebral palsy so we have a lot of experience with PT's. She is learning to be a wonderful cook and you can read her posting about caramelized onions on my blog at http://www.reluctantgourmet.com/blog/kids-can-cook/kids-can-cook-2/

Look forward to your posts.

RG
