Hi!

My name is Ashley, and I still feel very new to cooking. I did not learn how to cook growing up - and due to a very mobile life after college, I never had a reason or time to learn. As a result - I would be one of those that would fall into the category of people that could "burn water". :)

Now, I'm a little more stationary - and have fallen in love with cooking! I don't think it would ever be a full-time job for me, but I really enjoy being in the kitchen and coming up with a new creation! I don't know much of the how-to - so I've joined this forum in hopes someone can point me in the right direction.

Looking forward to your advice and suggestions!

Ashley

Welcome aboard Ashley……. Looking to have you join in. We, my wife and I, spent a couple of months in 2006 working as volunteers at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchers just below the dam at Lake Cumberland. That’s in South Central Kentucky just a few miles south of Jamestown in Russell County. Only bad thing about being there it was a dry county as all of the ones around it. Had to drive down to Tennessee (about 50 miles) to get a beer, but it was a pretty drive.
