Want to make an ordinary iceburg lettuce into something good? Just add some walnut toppings along with a little crumbled Feta cheese and some grapes cut on half. A few Black Olives would be something nice to add.
This is best with Italian Salad Dressing. Of course this is just the start. You could add some chopped Boiled Eggs, some Diced Tomato, a little Red Onion, and/or some Diced Ham, Turkey, or Rroast Beef.
See Recipe Link for Walnut Topping recipe.

I forgot, you may want to sprinkle some fresh grated parmesan cheese on to of the salad. Make sure it's fresh and not that stuff that comes in a box and taste like sawdust.
