My friend Chef Mark Vogel wrote this interesting article about becoming a chef and how difficult the process is. He says he doesn't want to discourage anyone from going to culinary school and taking up this noble career but he wants you to just be sure you realize how tough it can be. It's a good read at So You Want to Be a Chef
