I wanted to let everyone know, especially those of you who have participated every week and some every day that I'm going to pause the forum for a while until I can figure out how to get more participation and cut down on the spam. I spend hours every week deleting spam posts and fake users who sign up to spam.
I am in the process of redesigning my entire site and when I do, I will work with someone to make it more difficult to spam this forum. Once that happens, I will make it easier for visitors to www.reluctantgourmet.com to become involved in the forum. In the meantime, please visit my Reluctant Gourmet Blog where you can leave comments on my cooking articles and recipes.
I want to thank everyone who has participated in this community with all their wonderful tips, tales and recipes. It's not good bye but I'll see you soon.
Thanks,
RG |

Anyone know of any other food boards we can visit while waiting for this one to come back?
Most of the i-village and stuff like that are into mac and cheese and adding some frozen veges to hamburger helper for "nutrition"
I'm trying to think of who else I know does a lot of cooking from scratch that would be interested in this board. I can't think of many! It's kind of a little red hen society these days!
So, do we keep checking in to the board to see if it is back up, or will it shut down completely? It would be nice to be able to look up some past posts for thanksgiving and parties etc.!
Will you let us know on the RG newsletter that goes out from time to time if the board is back up?
Even though I pouted about the WFD thread shutting down ( I still think it generated the most discussion) I still come here every evening after checking my mail! Then on to the garden board.
Good luck on getting things resolved! Nancy |

| Hi guys, thanks for your comments. I will not shut it down entirely, only pause new comments and responses until I get some help keeping out the spam so yes you will be able to look up past posts. Of course I will announce in my RG newsletter when the board is back up and running and I hope those of you who have been extraordinary contributors get involved again. See you soon, RG |
