| It's too cold and windy to grill today, so I am going to try a pan-seared / oven ribeye technique. Wish me luck! Probably have salad and bread or toast with it. |

heh, it works pretty good! veddy hot pan - a little 'burning' isn't bad as it will produce some faux 'grilled' flavor . . .
doesn't take long in the oven - over-cook thee not! [g] |

DDs are coming for our better late than never holiday! LOL
NY steaks, baked taters and salad. And a pineapple my sister forgot to take for desert. |

It's cold down here in Lower Alabama today, but never too cold to grill. That being said, I see that you are in Northwest North Dakota so I can see where it would be too cold and windy. I read one of your post that said you were 40 miles from the grocery store. Just where in North Dakota? Are you near Williston? |

| LADawg .... excellent deduction, sir. I commute nearly 80 miles a day round trip to Williston for work (depending on weather, of course.) I have always considered myself a somewhat "extreme" griller ... if it is +20 and no wind I will grill (gas not charcoal.) |
