I thought it would be fun for the community to post what kitchen tools or gadgets they would like to receive for Christmas or Hanukkah this holiday season.

I've been posting some items that "Catch My Eye" in the hundreds of cooking catalogs I seem to be receiving every week on my blog at
http://www.reluctantgourmet.com/blog/category/gadgetstools/caught-my-eye/

These are some more unusual gift ideas but fun none the less.

I'm not going to say Santa reads this cooking community forum but if he did, what would you like on your list for him to see?

This is what I would like Santa to bring me this year:

They say that they can be used for glass top stoves but,I don't know what it means that you can't drag them.I guess they will scratch the surface.

This is a nice set. I have a few of them and they work well on my glasstop stove. These is another similar set available only through QVC called Technics and to me work better. They do not stick as much.

Good luck.

Santa picked out something very similar for me today! LOL.
JC Pennys carries COOKS brand and it seemed pretty hefty!
It'll go nicely with my new range I got in August!
What DH..I mean Santa doesn't know is that this means new counters and floors to go with the pots and range! :D Also redoing the cupboards by either painting or restaining. Not sure which.

Ninja,

I did exactly that to my kitchen this past year. We replaced all our appliances and countertops. I repainted the cabinets (too expensive to replace) and put down a new floor. I now have a bright and "new" kitchen.

With all that said, my cooking needs are simple and I pretty much have everything I need. I'm having trouble thinking of something cool to ask for. :?
