hi everyone-
Ninjabut I know what you mean! I actually searched this forum out because there is so little activity on another community I've belonged to for a long time. I like what I've been reading here.

I have a lot of time on my hands these days, so rest assured I'm out here, though you may not hear from me if I have nothing worthwhile to add. I'm afraid you might when I don't though too.

I'm new to high altitude baking (above 7000 feet) but am making the adjustments though I admit that focaccia is my greatest success so far! Apparently there is a reason most high altitude cultures are sustained by a flat bread.

My husband & I love all kinds of cuisine & flavors. I am making an even greater effort to be heart-healthy. That doesn't mean I don't use butter, bacon & such but less often & in small amounts.

Welcome Tullius.
My DH's brother And SIL live in Boulder. She's a desert chef, mostly doing catering right now. They are new to the Colorado area having moved from CA about 3 years ago. I don't think Boulder is as high as 7000 feet!

Hi Tullius, welcome to the group and I look forward to reading your posts. We used to live in Park City, another favorite relocation for Californians. How are you enjoying the change of climate and altitude?
