OK, I'm trying to finally bake some bread (turned out OK) and I'm cleaning up.
How in the heck do you clean out a flour sifter?!?!?
I spray it with water one way and it looks clean, flip it over and there's gooey flour on the other side! Flip it and the same thing happens the other way!
Oh, I'm just NOT a baker! |

Never put water on it--it could rust, and you've already noticed the gooey mess. I just whack mine on the edge of the deck railing outside and then use a dry cloth to swipe off all the dust.
Sorry you are having to learn the hard way :( Been there myself before... |
