About Their Name Change

Before they were Lincoln College of New England, they were the Swiss Hospitality Institute in Washington, CT. In 1994 they changed their name to the International College of Hospitality Management, César Ritz after being approved to offer associate degree programs.

Under new ownership in 2003, they moved the school to Suffield on the grounds of the former St. Alphonsus College. In 2007 they changed the name again to Clemens College to honor one of Connecticut's favorite authors, Samuel Clemens or better known as Mark Twain.

Not sure of the date, but they were recently purchased by The Lincoln Group of Schools and became the Lincoln College of New England.
