If some one told me I could only eat one type of food, I’m sure that it would be pasta. There are literally thousands of ways to make pasta. There must be more than a hundred different types of pasta, in all sizes and shapes and served with more sauces than you can shake a cheese grater at.
My favorite pasta dish is a simple pasta with garlic and oil recipe taught to me by Chef Ricco Deluca. On weeknights when I have no idea what to prepare, I make one of my girls favorite pasta recipes, penne with sausage sauce.
If you are looking for a meat sauce, my buddy Geoff taught me how to prepare this pork Ragu sauce with freshly made pasta. My other favorite meat sauce pasta recipe dish is Pasta Bolognese and can be served with just about any pasta but we prefer some form of penne.
