Programs of Study
Associate of Science degree in Culinary Arts: This degree program builds on the material covered in the certificate course and through instruction gives the student a foundation in hand and knife skills as well as a more in-depth study of baking and pastry preparation.
The student will also learn about pantry cooking, American and international cuisines. There is a focus on the development of presentation, teamwork, and time management skills. Instructors will also give an advanced course in food preparation that will also you to create delicious dishes from even the most basic ingredients. Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Arts Management: This program is geared to give the student the necessary skills to enter the business end of culinary arts. Students of this program will be given a foundation in such skill areas as personnel management, accounting, financial management, cost control and facility design.
This rigorous program led by seasoned instructors will prepare its graduates to enter the food service industry in entry-level positions such as restaurant manager and catering manager in such facilities as hotels the world over.
Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management: This program combines business with culinary classes to provide graduates with skills that blend culinary, business and hospitality so that students are comfortable in both management and in the kitchen, and will be positioned to run their own businesses or manage larger private or public enterprises.
Diploma in The Art of Cooking: You will learn the fundamentals, including knife and hand skills.
