Shrimp Victoria
This recipe was sent to me from a home chef who liked the page. She says, "This is one of the favorites for the family when I
cook, it is called Shrimp Victoria. This serves about 4 to 6." For those of you looking for a quick and easy meal without a lot of fuss, this is a recipe for you. Enjoy. RG
Shrimp Victoria
Ingredients:
1 lb. med. shrimp peeled and deveined
1 small onion minced finely
4 Tbs. butter
1/2 lb. mushrooms
2 Tbs. butter
salt and FRESH ground pepper to taste
1 cup sour cream
1 Tbs. flour
Procedure:
Sauté shrimp and onions in 4 Tbs. butter until shrimp are pink. Add mushrooms and cook 5 min. Add remaining remaining butter, flour, salt and pepper. Stir in sour cream. serve hot over rice flavored with juice of 1 large lemon.
