Culinary - Baking - Pastry - Hospitality Management Schools in Jacksonville
Did you know Jacksonville is the largest city in the continental United States with over 840 square miles? I didn't. Did you know Jacksonville was named for General Andrew Jackson, the first military governor of Florida. I know the first but not the second.
And back in 1955, the Prudential Building which is now known as the Aetna Building was the tallest doffice building in the South. It has 22 stories. And in 1997, the Jacoby Symphony Hall was built and is the only true orchestra hall in Florida and home to the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra.
And one of my favorite facts, the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, founded in 1914, began its animal collection with one red deer fawn. Today, the zoo is home to more than 1,400 animals and over 1,000 unique plant species.

TOP JACKSONVILLE COOKING SCHOOLS FOR THE HOME COOK
A. Chef's Cooking Studio
A. Chef’s Cooking Studio was originally just a daydream. Chef Andrea, always a lover of art and food, dreamed up the idea of a Studio for cooks! Home cooks, professional cooks, those who want to learn, and those who want to share, would have a Studio to call home. In December of 2006, that daydream turned into a reality, as Chef Andrea and her Husband and Co-Owner, Michael, unlocked the doors of their then, new enterprise! A. Chef’s Cooking Studio was born! It’s been over 10 years and the joy of serving Jacksonville, The Beaches, Southside, Ponte Vedra, Bartram, Saint Augustine and guests from as far as Orlando and Amelia island continues today!
