About the Art Institute
The Art Institute has more than 50 locations across North America and offers 27 programs of study. In conjunction with The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, the Online Division gives students the opportunity to manage their schedule by taking online classes to obtain their degree. The majority of online classes include students from many different Art Institute Divisions. Online courses are faster paced and allow student to complete their program of study in a shorter amount of time.
Courses are designed to prepare students for an entry-level career in the culinary, hotel, or restaurant management field. Students enrolled in online courses have access to free tutoring services and various online resources such as digital textbooks to help them complete their degree.

Hotel and Restaurant Management
This bachelor’s degree program helps students obtain a greater understanding of both front-room and front-office procedures as well as a foundation in kitchen procedures and preparation. Students have the opportunity to gain the skills necessary to work in a hotel, resort, or casino. Coursework is designed to provide students with effective decision-making skills and human relations abilities.
