The Ratings Guy Reviews The Reluctant Gourmet
It's nice to know that you rate and I just found out the Reluctant Gourmet web site was rated in the Top 30 Food Sites at the Ratings Guy, a husband and wife web site team who want to help "consumers improve their overall quality of life."
John Morrow is a "seasoned professional in the information and ratings field for over twenty-five years. John has worked in a variety of roles of; executive, marketer, editor, publisher, consultant and lecturer."
His wife, Katherine Harman Morrow is "an international CyberConsumer" although I'm not sure what that really means. She is "an avid Internet researcher, expatriate and international traveler, designer and writer." And also the mother of triplet teenagers. Now I'm impressed.
What's really cool is the company I get to keep with some of the big "foodie" Internet sites. These include some of my favorite sites and cooking companies including Dartagnan, Epicurious, RecipeSource and William Sonoma to name a few.
The Ratings Guy said this about my site, "Every detail is revealed with advice on what cooking tools to buy, how to find the best ingredients, and how to cook the basics to get you started on your cuisine adventure."
Thank you very much Mr and Mrs Ratings Guy.
Follow Up with The Ratings Guy
Back in May I told you The Reluctant Gourmet web site was rated in the Top 30 Food Sites at The Ratings Guy, a site to help web viewers find top quality sites. And if you do visit, please take a second to rate my site.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak with the Ratings Guy himself, John Morrow. We talked about how his web site started, the number of hours he spends finding interesting sites and his criteria for picking the best from the thousands of sites he check out.
He also told me about his new Holiday Food selections, perfect for finding online gifts for the holidays. These are not sponsored or affiliate programs of The Ratings Guy, but sites he found to offer interesting products and great service.
Some of them you may already know but others like Oh Danish Bakery or The Nutty Girl are unique and interesting finds. I also liked FatCat Scones that sells FatCat Cookies offering gourmet frozen cookie dough in 6 flavors – Ginger Twinkle, Chocolate Chip, Snicerdoodle, Swiss Orange Chip, Lemon Drop & Oatmeal Raisin.
