#4. The Complete Cooking For Two Cookbook - America's Test Kitchen
I'm a big fan of America's Test Kitchen and like the idea of taking popular recipes that are made for 4 to 6 people and "re-engineering" them down for 2 people. That's what these guys and gals did for 650 of their best recipes. If you are not familiar with the folks at American Test Kitchen, here's Amazon's About the Author:
This book has been tested, written, and edited by the test cooks, editors, food scientists, tasters, and cookware specialists at America’s Test Kitchen, a 2,500-square-foot kitchen located just outside Boston. It is the home of Cook’s Illustrated magazine and Cook’s Country magazine, the public television cooking shows America’s Test Kitchen and Cook’s Country from America’s Test Kitchen, America’s Test Kitchen Radio, and the online America’s Test Kitchen Cooking School.

»I also enjoy that this is a complete cookbook. This means that the cookbook features a wide variety of dishes for almost any occasion (breakfast, dinner, lunch, dessert, holidays, and even some ethnic).
