Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ΒΌ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 8 slices bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  • Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  • Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
  • In a large pan or griddle over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add the bread slices to the pan and cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

  • Flip the bread and cook until the other side is golden brown, about 2-3 more minutes.
  • Repeat with the remaining bread slices.
  • Serve the French toast hot with maple syrup and any other toppings you like. Enjoy!

Notes

This recipe makes 8 slices of French toast. You can easily double or triple the recipe if you are serving a larger group.
