Habanero Sauce Recipe
Be Very Careful With Any Sauce Containing Habaneros - It Will Be Hot
Servings: 8 people
- 1 large red bell pepper roughly chopped
- 1 fresh habanero pepper dried works too
- 1 large shallot minced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup water
- ⅓ cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1½ teaspoon salt
Roughly chop the bell and habanero peppers, or grind the habaneros if using dried).
Roughly chop the onion and garlic.
Bring all of the ingredients to a boil, and then simmer for 8 minutes.
Finally, puree the mixture in a blender.
