Here is my growing collection of lamb recipes that my family enjoys. Not too many yet so I hope to be adding more.
Lamb is one of those meats you either love or hate. Luckily, I learned to love it very young when my mom served us a leg of lamb as one of our Sunday roasts.
As you know, lambs are young sheep for up to one year, and after one year they are called "hoggets." When a sheep is over two years of age, the meat is called "mutton."
I'm told mutton has a stronger taste than young lamb or hoggets, but I don't think I've ever eaten mutton or even seen it in any of the markets I shop in.
