Looking for a Simple Sauce to Serve on Vegetables?
We eat a lot of steamed broccoli and asparagus in our house and always look for new ways to serve it. This simple yogurt sauce made with garlic and freshly squeezed lemon juice is so easy to make and adds a wonderful layer of flavor to green vegetables.
The hardest part of making this sauce is squeezing the lemon for the juice. I suppose you could try making it with store-bought lemon juice, but I can't imagine it will be as good. If you want to get fancy, try topping the sauce with sliced almonds or toasted pine nuts.
