Thickened Soup Recipes
Thickened Soups. These are the soups that stick to the ribs. They make you warm inside on those cold winter days and fill you up the rest of the year.
I think of "thickened" soups as any soup using thickening ingredients like flour, starch, potatoes, roux or cream like any of my bisques. You can also use the soup itself as a thickening agent just by puréeing it in a blend or food processor.
