8. Bulgur
Bulgur is traditionally used in Middle Eastern cuisine. Like millet, Bulgur belongs to a family of seeded grasses—Poaceae—that are cultivated for their edible grains.
Bulgur is made from the hulled grains of several different wheat varieties, most commonly durum wheat (which is the base to make pasta). Bulgur is high in fiber, rich in vitamin B, phosphorous, and manganese.
